Titan Intech has signed an MoU with Obel Systems Private Limited for the implementation of a project awarded by the state of Uttar Pradesh on August 21, 2 2024. This project involves the installation of Automatic Rain Gauges (ARG) and Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) across Gram Panchayats in Uttar Pradesh. The system will enhance weather monitoring, aiding in disaster management, crop planning, insurance, and loss assessments through robust and timely data. The project cost is Rs 3600 million (US$ 42 million), to be completed over five years, with revenue sharing between Titan Intech (87.50%) and Obel Systems (12.50%).
Titan Intech has signed an MoU to acquire a 26% stake in Kakatiya Energy Systems Private Limited (KES). This strategic collaboration will bolster Titan Intech's capacity to execute a ₹450 crore order from the Government of Uttar Pradesh for weather monitoring systems. KES’s expertise in IoT, automation, and patented sensing and switching technologies will enhance the precision and efficiency required for the large-scale weather network systems. This partnership ensures that real-time, accurate data is delivered to optimize the project’s performance.
